Any visit to North Wales really has to include a trip into Snowdonia (Eryri (er-roy-ri)). Either a leisurely drive up into the mountains to enjoy the stunning views or a more intrepid trek up one of the famous routes to reach the summit of mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa - (ur-oith-va)).

Also within Snowdonia and well worth a visit are the towns of Llanberis, Beddgelert, Betws-y-Coed and Bethesda.
